Some Lucky Someone

Well, I get to play here with the 'Band In A Box Boys' in a style after Johnny Smith's quartet. The excellent players are:

Bass - Neil Swainson
Piano - Miles Black
Guitar - Oliver Ganon
Drums: Terry Clarke

...and the guy trying to hang with them is

Vocals and Lead Guitar -  Gary Shoe

This tune goes way back to 1991 when it was sung by the incomparable Teri Savage Jones. I re-recorded it 2003 and 2017.
Some lucky someone someday will know the thrill;
When you are ready to ignite with the passion that you feel.
Some lucky someone someday
Some lucky someone will say
He’ll love you to the end of his days.

Some lucky someone someday will hold you close.
He'll feel your beauty penetrate his senses and he'll know;
Some lucky someone someday
Some lucky someone will say
He’ll love you to the end of his days.

          Some lucky   some lucky   some lucky someone
          Some lucky   some lucky   some lucky someone

Some lucky someone someday will fill the space.
And you will find the trust you thought you never could replace.
Some lucky someone someday
Some lucky someone will say
He’ll love you to the end of his days.

          Some lucky   some lucky   some lucky someone
          Some lucky   some lucky   some lucky someone

And hidden at the bottom of the page is the Original Recording of "Some Lucky Someone" with Teri Jones's incredible vocal stylings and some nice lead guitar work by Rudy Bruggeman, Bass by David Rucker, drums by Ben Culley, and Yours Truly on Acoustic Guitar.
